We have seen the consequences of polythene, and have tried and tested paper, jute, metal, and other options. Each packaging material has some restrictions for its usage and adverse effect on the products packed, human and environmental health.
Whilst
the packaging material manufacturers were striving with limitation of available the option then came to PP woven fabric roll or you can say PP woven fabric. Scientists
J. Paul Hogan and Robert L. Banks of Phillips introduced it to the
world in the year 1951. After its introduction, it became popular because it
overcame several limitations of packaging material options available to date
and provided a better alternative, which is sturdy, flexible, attractive,
non-reactive, resistant to moisture, chemicals, etc.
Gradually,
PP woven bags almost replaced the other options. Nevertheless, the significance
of other packaging material is still there, and people in the industry are
using them rigorously.
But
being a highly customizable material, it penetrated almost all industries by
proving its worth. The woven bags manufacturers also played a significant role
in making this material a popular choice by customizing it to add new
characteristics and features according to the present industry
requirement.
The
polypropylene woven bags are compatible with packing almost everything that
exists on the earth with some modifications (manufacturers and scientists have
modified it by adding different additives and other material to make it more
users and environment friendly). It is the first choice in the agriculture
industry, cargo industry, chemical industry, food industry, tour, and travel,
garments, etc. Many other industries are not using polypropylene material as
bags but in other forms like PP fabric roll or sheets.
A
few industries like garments and food use it in other forms. In addition to
these benefits, polypropylene material offers other advantages as well to the
manufacturers. One of the major benefits is that the polypropylene material is,
it is recyclable. Most of the polypropylene woven sacks/bags reaches the
recycling plant, and here they are recycled to make household products or
polypropylene bags again. The recycled bags possess the same quality as the
original material, and their use in different industries is prevalent. And
those that do not reach the recycling plant does not contribute much in
environmental hazard. It is because polypropylene is a UV-sensitive material,
and it decomposes when left open for a long time.
